Taco Sieburgh Sjoerdsma
Founder
Taco has over 20 years of hedge fund and investment management experience, having reviewed hundreds of funds across strategies such as weather derivatives, equity long-short, ABS, and global macro. He has successfully set up hedge funds in jurisdictions like Cayman, Bermuda, and Luxembourg, and established investment management firms in London, Malta, and offshore (e.g., Sturgeon Capital, Pentalpha Capital, Arjan Capital).
Taco has worked closely with prime brokers, custodians, administrators, and legal teams, and served as a fund director in multiple jurisdictions. He has also held senior roles as a Compliance and AML Officer for over 15 years and CFO for over a decade.
Starting his career as a top-rated equity analyst, Taco later became Head of Research in Moscow and Singapore, contributing to corporate finance deals such as IPOs and M&A. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Business Economics degree from Erasmus University.
Isabel Sieburgh Sjoerdsma

Isabel holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by a minor in Portfolio Management from the University of New South Wales, Sydney. She has further enriched her academic foundation with advanced studies in Management at the London School of Economics. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident through her completion of specialized online courses, including Generative AI at the University of Pennsylvania and Financial Markets at Yale University.
Isabel brings a diverse range of experience, having interned at distinguished investment firms such as Sturgeon Capital, where she gained valuable insights into fund management and strategic investment. She has also contributed to leading marketing agencies like VCCP, honing her skills in brand strategy and communication. Currently, Isabel leverages her expertise in a dynamic role at a fitness start-up, where she integrates her knowledge in sales and marketing to drive business growth and brand visibility.
